Administrative Committee and Executive Committee Minutes 1932-1962.

This series consists of bound copies of minutes from the Executive Board and Administrative Committee of the Women's Missionary Society/United Lutheran Church Women. The Executive Board met to conduct the business of the organization between conventions. The Administrative Committee was a subset of the Executive Board comprising the officers and a portion of the membership of the Executive Board. This committee met between Executive Board meetings and handled business matters pertaining to the organization's finances, and any business matters needing attention before the next scheduled Executive Board meeting. The minutes in this series are in thirty bound volumes and are from 1932 to 1962. They include summaries of officer reports, staff reports, committee and division reports, informational items from church boards, and a record of actions voted on. The minutes from the Administrative Committee and Executive Board are interfiled chronologically within each volume unless the Executive Board met in consecutive periods, or there were no Administrative Committee meetings. There are no Administrative Committee minutes for 1942-1948. For 1942-1945 there are Executive Board minutes and minutes from officers' meetings, and for 1946-1948 there are only Executive Board minutes. Minutes before 1932 are found in ULCA 29/4/1 Executive Board Minutes, and ULCA 29/4/2 Administrative Committee Minutes. Records are arranged chronologically.
